“How I use my bracelet submissions”:

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”perspective-right” width=”475px” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”3″ border_color=”#3a0bef” inside_shadow=”false” ]I use my bracelet to count the number of times I follow through on opportunitites to show a kindness to someone else.  If I have a thought or behavior counter to that action plan, I move all the kindness beads I accumulated back to the beginning and start counting kindnesses again.  It helps me feel good about myself and others while practicing the OA principles in all my affairs.[/dropshadowbox]

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”perspective-right” width=”475px” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”3″ border_color=”#3a0bef” inside_shadow=”false” ]I use my bracelet to count each time I have a negative thought.  It has really increased my awareness and willingness to immediately pray to be released from that negativity right away.  My serenity is restored and I keep moving forward.[/dropshadowbox]

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”perspective-right” width=”475px” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”3″ border_color=”#3a0bef” inside_shadow=”false” ]I made an action plan to walk 30 minutes a day for 30 days. Counting my days has helped my recovery by practicing commitment. Commitment can also benefit my spiritual and emotional recovery as well as my willingness to follow through on service opportunities.[/dropshadowbox]

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”perspective-right” width=”475px” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”3″ border_color=”#3a0ebf” inside_shadow=”false” ]I was very anxious and I used the bracelet to breathe and mentally repeat, “I breathe in peace and breathe out love.” I did it every time I felt anxious. At the end of the day, I saw that I had done it nine times. The anxiety passed by mid-morning.[/dropshadowbox]

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”perspective-right” width=”475px” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”3″ border_color=”#3a0ebf” inside_shadow=”false” ]I use the beads like worry beads or a worry stone. Whenever I am scared or stressed, I move the beads calm down.[/dropshadowbox]
